This piece is a self-portrait representing both physical pain as well as heartbreak derived from personal experience. These experiences range from dealing with pain and health concerns while being a student as well as navigating relationships at Colgate. By utilizing various images and song lyrics, the final piece demonstrates not only the pain but also triumph and beauty over hardship.
